This or the X1 Carbon?
"I've done all of them"Have you done a T Series? A real X Series? Or maybe a E/L/A Series?
Got me curious when he was going to talk about weight. (Expects 1.5kg or somewhere close) then he says 3 pounds.... how heavy is that?
Great solid feel. But maybe they should mention the problems, uneven poor keyboard lighting, 4 hour battery life, yes only 4 hours, under powered processor options.
As of today, the X1 is $2562 (retail $3659) and the Thinkpad Yoga here is on sale for $1529.10 (retail $3809). After having watched both videos in succession, there is much to love about both. I think the sound in the Yoga here sounds similar to the Carbon. I can deal with the "wobble". lol All in all, if someone is on the fence, this is a great sale happening now.
Maybe the touch screen sensor is what brings it down 30nits maybe
A metal chassis like this (sans sharp edge near wrists) would kill on a P1 or X1 extreme, with no accursed screen wiggle when typing. Indeed, all that wiggling and still a two handed opening operation......... Alas.....
Is the screen glossy or matte?
CKIN YOU MICK IPED TO A CROMBOOK
Thx good review
I agree.. Bought my custom yoga today. Thanks for backing up my choice.
Still got my thinkpad t410. Added an SSD and it's still kickin
um i just set my cereal and coffee on my keyboard so i don't need a yoga
Next video: Don’t buy the thinkpad
hola, donde puedo encontrar los drivers completos de la Yoga x1 4ta GEN, si me puedes ayudar seria genial..!
My job just upgraded me to this from a desktop. I love love love this laptop. Such an amazing display, fast, great features, compact.
Get a P52 and never look back
yes but the screen is glossy....
Download APO Equalizer and you can get almost double the volume from a Windows laptop. I have it in my X1 Yoga 3rd Gen and it's LOUD!
Just to say, mine arrived last week and there is no wobble at all. The screen is incredibly firm! The build quality of the whole laptop is astonishing frankly - I've never had something so solid. I went for the WQHD version, if that makes a difference. Thought it might be the sweet spot between the 4k poor battery and the HD not quite sharp enough. Text on the WQHD version is gorgeous, although battery seems to be 6-7 hours max. Still, this is an incredible machine and no wobble on my model - highly recommended!
